A Wealth of Experience in LNG
BOC has a wealth of experience in LNG production and plant construction. Australia’s first LNG plant was constructed 30 years ago in Dandenong, Victoria. BOC and parent company Linde, have over 100 years of experience in project development, plant operations, distribution and logistics management, assets and tools.
A Strategy for Success
BOC’s experience in the industrial gas market is well renowned. This experience translates perfectly to the LNG market where similar technologies in liquefaction, storage and distribution are applied to the production and supply of LNG.
The strategy of the global Linde organisation is to establish a worldwide presence in the LNG industry and is highly committed to developing its capabilities in the energy market. This strategy is well on its way to realisation, with impressive projects happening around the world.
Flexibility and Speed to Market
Typically a micro LNG production plant takes just 18 months to construct. This speed to market, coupled with the ability to be able to locate these plants close to any gas supply source, means that customers can be assured of a reliable supply close to their operations.
The Complete Supply Chain
One of the clear advantages of working with BOC is that the entire process is engineered and managed by one company. This includes construction of the plant, the liquefaction process, storage of the gas in its liquefied form, to distribution and refuelling stations. This end-to-end process comes full circle as BOC works closely with its customers to work out future demand for production plants and sites for refuelling stations.
