In the event of an incident involving BOC gas tankers, cylinders or storage vessels follow the below precautions:
- Shut off all engines and any other electrical equipment
- Dial Emergency Services ‘000’ and advise gas cylinders or receptacles are involved
- Contact BOC’s customer site and roadside emergency number 1800 653 572 (24 hour)
- Consider initiating an evacuation/exclusion zone of 100 meters
- Do not smoke or allow naked flames within the evacuation/exclusion zone
- IF SAFE TO DO SO stop any gas leakage
